My Story...
I’m Katie Soy. Storytelling is the constant thread in my resume tapestry that’s taught me how to help students, corporations, and entrepreneurs around the world craft signature stories and weave them into their work.
My career adventure began with a Master’s degree in Business Communications. That led to the next chapter as a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with ten years of marketing and copywriting expertise supporting 200+ retail branches and 2000+ sales representatives, creating content for over 25,000 subscribers at a bicoastal mortgage company. I developed marketing strategies, and award-winning campaigns for database marketing, sales enablement, and sales retention.
I’ve also spent ten years as a college adjunct professor teaching communications and public relations for Boise State University and Lewis Clark State College, respectively.
That brings us to my current chapter working as writer, storytelling consultant, and messaging coach. Creative writing is my passion and I’m working on a children’s series, and created The Firefly Society community, a membership for parents and kids based on the themes from the children’s books. Audiobooks only launched in March 2021 with print and digital books releasing in 2022.
